My Favorite Word is "Awesome", What's yours?

Wow! Isn’t the word awesome just beautiful ...I really can’t explain why I love the word so much but I’ll try. I became so into the word awesome after i watched the TV comedy drama "How i met your mother" Where Barney could not stop going on about his awesomeness, by the way I love how I met your mother.You see awesome is a word derived from the adjective “Awe”. And awe has a lot of meaning attached to it. Of course awe would have been my favourite word if you could use it as an exclamation after a totally Aweseous (mash up of awesome and righteous by the way) statement like “Hey Brad, here are the keys to my Ferrari, you can take it for a spin”, now Brad can’t saw “awe!” that would be totally awkward, instead he’d say “Awesome!!!!”.....cool right?

Am not going to take much of your time so let’s just dive into the meaning of the word AWESOME. Awesome simply means expressing awe, inspiring; it also can mean remarkable, outstanding, amazing, just name it, anything great. Many times when I say the word Awesome, I feel energized, confident, cool and many other great things. Many people around me would have noticed my liking to this word because I say it like always for instance if someone says’s “Hey Rita How’s it going?” I‘ll be like “Awesome”. Now am beginning to wonder if people feel so passionate about certain words or is it just me.

So back to the main topic “Awesome”. The synonyms of awesome I like the most are mind-blowing, breathe-taking, striking, astonishing, impressive, magnificent, beautiful, intimidating, fearful, stupefying, grand, dreadful, shocking. Now notice how just one word can be represented by so many words that contrast and agree at some point. Isn’t that just beautiful. The word awesome is very deep and it isn’t so easy to fathom. No wonder God is many times referred to as awesome. Oh! my this Word Awesome is so awesome even for itself.
